I will give one of the keynotes at UD26, the 8th International Universal Design Conference, in Galway this November. This is the companion page for that talk. Before the conference it gathers the premise and some related reading. After the session I will add the slides here, and the recording if there is one.
The working title is Accessibility, Usability and Universal Design Beyond “Us and Them”. It is still taking shape, and I would rather not reveal too much in advance. If you want a sense of where I stand, the key ideas are all here on the site. The talk itself I save for the room in Galway.
